A Scottish Odyssey
An account in pictures and a few words of a great trip in June 97 circumnavigating the Morvern and Ardgour peninsulas on the west coast of Scotland. Please click through the images below to see our account of the trip. Clicking on the middle of the right hand side of the image should move it along to the next one.
Day One
Day Two
Day Three
Days Four, Five and Six
The weather was better next day, although there was little wind, so we paddled down Upper Loch Linnhe until two of us decided there was sufficient breeze to make sailing the last few miles worthwhile. Using the last of the ebb-tide we slipped through Corran Narrows and turned left to land again back at Ballachulish about 15 miles from our last campsite. We had travelled over a hundred miles in six days enjoying mostly excellent (as well as some poor!) wind and weather conditions.
