This roof rack system aids lifting a canoe or kayak onto the roof of a car. The roof rack slides out to one side and drops down to the side of the vehicle helping a person to lift the canoe to a lower height. Once secured to the Kari-Tek roof rack the whole system slides on rails attached to the car’s roof bars.
The component parts of the system measure as follows.
The length of rails that bolt to the car’s roof bars are 115cm
The length of bars that slide on the rails are 130cm
The two tubular support bars are 150cm
The buyer will need square section roof bars. I can include a pair of Thule roof bars measuring 135cm long.
